Κύκλοι Έρευνας

Πρώτος Κύκλος

Κατά την περίοδο 2024–2027 υλοποιείται ο πρώτος κύκλος της έρευνας CYStudents και ο ένατος της έρευνας EUROSTUDENT (EUROSTUDENT9).

Στον τρέχοντα κύκλο της EUROSTUDENT συμμετέχουν συνολικά 26 χώρες. Κάθε χώρα ορίζει μία εθνική ερευνητική ομάδα, η οποία είναι υπεύθυνη τόσο για την υλοποίηση της έρευνας, σύμφωνα με τις κατευθυντήριες γραμμές που παρέχονται από την κοινοπραξία EUROSTUDENT, όσο και για την αποστολή των δεδομένων στην Ομάδα Δεδομένων της EUROSTUDENT 9.

Η εθνική ερευνητική ομάδα της Κύπρου για τον τρέχοντα κύκλο απαρτίζεται από μέλη του προσωπικού της Διεύθυνσης Ανώτερης Εκπαίδευσης (ΔΑΕ), και της εταιρείας PwC Κύπρου, η οποία έχει οριστεί ως Ανάδοχος του έρευνας κατόπιν προκήρυξης διαγωνισμού.

Η συλλογή δεδομένων στην Κύπρο θα πραγματοποιηθεί κατά την περίοδο Μαΐου-Ιουνίου 2025. Στην έρευνα θα κληθούν να συμμετάσχουν όλοι/ες οι φοιτητές/φοιτήτριες (περίπου 55,000 άτομα) οι οποίοι/ες είναι εγγεγραμμένοι/ες σε Προγράμματα Σπουδών Ιδρυμάτων Ανώτερης Εκπαίδευσης (ΙΑΕ) της Κύπρου κατά το Εαρινό Εξάμηνο του 2025.

Previous Cycles

EUROSTUDENT has successfully completed eight cycles to date. Launched in the late 1990s, the first cycle (EUROSTUDENT I) was conducted in 2000, with the participation of eight (8) countries. Since then, subsequent cycles have been carried out every three years. The most recent cycle, EUROSTUDENT VIII, included 25 participating countries.

Μέχρι σήμερα, η έρευνα EUROSTUDENT έχει ολοκληρώσει με επιτυχία οκτώ κύκλους συλλογής δεδομένων. O πρώτος κύκλος (EUROSTUDENT I) διεξήχθη το 2000 με τη συμμετοχή οκτώ (8) χωρών. // About CYStudents
The EUROSTUDENT survey is a European wide initiative that has been collecting data on the social and economic conditions of student life in Europe since 2000 to provide reliable and insightful cross-country comparisons regarding student life experiences.

EUROSTUDENT brings together a network of researchers, data collectors, representatives of national ministries and other stakeholders to examine the social and economic conditions of student life in Higher Education systems in Europe.

Eurostudent data is conducted through national questionnaires based on a common template which makes cross-countries comparisons possible. EUROSTUDENT data is self-reported data and complements data from other sources, e.g. from official statistics. The main data users are Higher Education policymakers at national and European level, researchers in this field, managers of Higher Education Institutions and students all over Europe. The EUROSTUDENT dataset and findings are available to all interested users through various tools such as the EUROSTUDENT database and publications database

The project is jointly conducted by an international consortium made up of six organisations from different European countries, led by the German Centre for Higher Education Research and Science Studies (DZHW). The current members of the EUROSTUDENT consortium, as involved in the latest cycles such as EUROSTUDENT VIII (2021–2024), are:

The Steering Board guides the EUROSTUDENT Consortium. The Steering Board is composed of three representatives of fee-paying countries and five stakeholders. The three representatives of the fee-paying countries have been elected into the Steering Board by representatives of all fee-paying countries for the entire life of the project. An international Steering Board representing stakeholders, policymakers and participant countries provides advice on the project and monitors its progress.
